My academic journey in Nanobiology at Delft University of Technology and Erasmus University Rotterdam laid the foundation for everything I know about the science of life at the smallest scale. This interdisciplinary field, combining physics, mathematics, and chemistry, offers a powerful lens through which to explore biological systems.
In the final years of my studies, I became increasingly fascinated by the question of how life began and the emerging, imaginative field of synthetic cells. I explored this interest in depth by writing my MSc thesis on the directed evolution of synthetic cell models.

While these years honed the analytical side of my thinking, I've always been drawn to creative expression. This curiosity led me to intern at NEMO Science Museum in Amsterdam.A place known for its hands-on, immersive approach to science communication.
